myHealth

myHealth is a secure and confidential system which allows you to access your medical information and message Student Health Services providers.

 

To ensure that no one can access your health information, you MUST close your browser after logging out of myHealth.

 

Through myHealth you can:

  • Make appointments;
  • View and cancel scheduled appointments;
  • View your Student Health Services profile;
  • Edit your health history;
  • Send and receive messages to your health provider;
  • View your lab results;
  • View your itemized charges for services and medications;
  • Print out a list of immunizations received at Student Health Services; and
  • Complete online questionnaires.

 

myHealth Login Instructions

 

Login with your:

  • SF State ID Number
  • SF State Password

 

Student Health Services uses the SF State's Shibboleth authentication system to insure that access to your information is secure.

Secure Messaging

If a provider sends you a message, you will receive an email notification to your SF State email. The email lets you know there is a confidential message from the health center and includes a link to myHealth.

 

SF State Email Login

 

If you have your SF State email forwarded to another email account, add shsemr@sfsu.edu to your email's list of contacts/addresses. This makes sure that all message notifications from Student Health Services will go to your Inbox instead of your Spam folder.

 

Some students have reported that they were not able to access their sfsu.edu emails via their Yahoo accounts and had to change their webmail service in order to fix the problem.

What is myHealth?

myHealth is a secure and confidential system which allows you to access your SF State Student Health Services medical information. You will be able to access information such as your lab results, messages from your provider, itemized charges for services, medications or labs, and important health information messages from the Student Health Services.

How do I know if I have a message in myHealth?

Student Health Services will send an email to your designated SF State email address. This is usually a sfsu.edu email account. This email will let you know that Student Health Services has posted a confidential a message in myHealth. The email will include a link to link to myHealth.

What do I do if I am not receiving messages from myHealth?

Make sure that you have an email account registered with the Registrar's Office. If you forward/redirect your sfsu.edu email to a non-SF State account (e.g. Yahoo, Gmail, etc.), make sure you add shsemr@sfsu.edu to your List of Contacts/Address Book.

I have added shsemr@sfsu.edu to my contacts and I am still not receiving email notifications from myHealth.

If you are still experiencing problems please check your Spam folder. Some students have reported that they were not able to access their sfsu.edu emails via their Yahoo accounts and had to change their webmail service in order to resolve the problem.

I am not receiving any notification emails from Student Health Services about myHealth messages.

Make sure that you have an email account registered with the Registrar's Office. This account will usually be an xxxx@mail.sfsu account. If you forward or redirect email from your registered account to a webmail service e.g. gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail do the following:

  1. Check that the forwarding / redirection is working;
  2. Add shsemr@sfsu.edu to your webmail account's List of Contacts/Addresses; and
  3. Check that the notifications are not being filtered into your your webmail account's Spam folder. If you are still not receiving your e-mail notifications please note that some students have solved the problem by switching to another webmail service.
