Family PACT Client's Use of Outside Pharmacies
Wherever you are in California, you can go to any retail pharmacy eg. Walgreens, Savon, Costco) to get a Family PACT prescription filled.
Some pharmacies have had problems with Family PACT prescriptions so the SHS suggests that you present the Family PACT Outside Pharmacy Letter whenever you need to fill a prescription at a pharmacy other than the SHS pharmacy.
To refill a Family PACT prescription at a California retail pharmacy you can present your prescription container with its label, and the pharmacist can call the SHS Pharmacy at (415) 338-1710 to have your prescription transferred.
